The consent agenda is a technique designed to expedite handling of
routine and miscellaneous official business of the City Council. The
entire agenda may be adopted by the Council in one motion. The
motion for adoption is non - debatable and must receive unanimous
approval. By request of any individual Council Member, any item can
be removed from the consent agenda and placed upon the regular agenda
for debate.
ITEM A. Authorize hire of Sue Monson of Kelly Girl as a temporary
clerical employee at the hourly rate of $8.10 effective
April 9, 1979.
ITEM B. Accept the resignation of Eva Melhouse as Secretary to the
Administrator effective 4:30 PM on Friday, April 13, 1979.
ITEM C. Accept the resignation of Pam Rose as Recording Secretary
for the City Council and Planning Commission effective May 1,
1979, and authorize staff to advertise for and hire a replace-
ment at the rate of $40 per meeting.
ITEM D. Accept the resignation of William J. Myers as Sr. Accounting
Clerk effective 4:30 PM on Thursday, May 31, 1979. Authorize
staff to advertise for and hire a replacement at the hourly
rate of $4.60 to $4.85.
ITEM E. Adopt Resolution No. 979 authorizing the Mayor and Clerk -
Administrator to execute the LAWCON Fund Project Agreement
in the amount of $68,400.00 for development of Silver View
Park. This agreement between the City and the State of
Minnesota authorizes expenditure of project funds.
ITEM F. Appoint Police Chief Ernest Grabowski as a member of the
Board of Directors of the Suburban Ramsey County Emergency
Communications System and Sergeant Timothy Smith as an
alternate member.
ITEM G. Authorize payment of $10,054.80 to H & A Watertank Specialists
Inc. for work completed to date on Improvement Project 1978 -9,
Cleaning and Repainting of Water Treatment Plant No. 1, per
the Statement of Work Estimate No. 1 from Comstock & Davis.
ITEM H. Authorize staff to work with the City of Fridley to establish
a joint agreement enabling the City of Mounds View to use
Fridley's water. The agreement will be subject to final
approval by the Mounds View City Council.
