CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW
RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA
A regular meeting of the Mounds View City Council was called to order
by Mayor McCarty at 7:37 PM on April 9, 1979 at the Mounds View City
Hall, 2401 Highway 10, Mounds View, MN 55112.

Mayor McCarty asked that the minutes of the March 26, 1979 meeting be
corrected to add, at the end of the first paragraph on page 4, held
as security for City certificates of deposit.
MSP (Hodges - Ziebarth) to approve the minutes of the March 26, 1979
meeting as corrected. 5 ayes
CITIZEN COMMENTS AND REQUESTS
Peg Mountain, 8287 Red Oak Drive stated that she had attended a street
and highway workshop in New Brighton on April 7 and that she will be
presenting the Council with a written summary shortly. She reviewed
briefly what was discussed in the workshop and asked the Council to
consider appointing a transportation liaison between the neighboring
cities.
APPROVAL OF CONSENT AGENDA
Mayor McCarty asked that items B, C, D and I be removed from the
consent agenda.
MSP (Ziebarth- Rowley) to approve the consent agenda as follows: 5 ayes
ITEM A. Authorize hire. of Sue Monson of Kelly Gir_1 as a temporary
clerical employee at the hourly rate of $8.10 effective
April 9, 1979.
ITEM E. Adopt Resolution No. 979 authorizing the Mayor and Clerk -
Administrator to execute the LAWCON Fund Project Agreement
in the amount of $68,400.00 for development of Silver View
Park. This agreement between the City and the State of
Minnesota authorizes expenditure of project funds.
