Appoint Police Chief Ernest Grabowski as a member of the Board of Directors of the Suburban Ramsey County Emergency Communications System and Sergeant Timothy Smith as an alternate member. ITEM G. Authorize payment of $10,054.80 to H & A Watertank Specialists Inc. for work completed to date on Improvement Project 1978 -9, Cleaning and Repainting of Water Treatment Plant No. 1, per the Statement of Work Estimate No. 1 from Comstock & Davis. ITEM H. Authorize staff to work with the City of Fridley to establish a joint agreement enabling the City of Mounds View to use Fridley's water. The agreement will be subject to final approval by the Mounds View City Council. ITEM J. Approve the following licenses: GARBAGE & RUBBISH HAULER - renewal -- expires 3/31/80 Larry's Quality Sanitation 17210 Driscoll St. N.W. CONTRACTORS - expire 6/30/79 Heating - new Hutton & Rowe Inc. 217 Van Buren St. Sprinkler Installation - new Independent Fire Protection Inc. 10197 Nightingale St. N.W. General - new Custom Pools 701 E. Excelsior Ave. New Hope Water Control 568 N. Snelling Mayor McCarty stated that on behalf of the Council and himself, he would like to thank Eva Melhouse, Pamela Rose and Bill Myers for jobs well done. MSP (McCarty - Ziebarth) to accept the resignations, with regrets, of Eva Melhouse as Secretary to the Administrator, Pamela Rose as Recording Secretary for the Council and Planning Commission, and Bill Myers as Senior Accounting Clerk, per their letters. 5 ayer Mayor McCarty asked for a clarification of check #3185 for Short-Elliott- Hendrickson. Acting Administrator Anderson explained that it was the payment for Woodcrest.
