The entire agenda may be adopted by the Council in one motion. The motion for adoption is non - debatable and must receive unamimous approval. By request of any individual Council Member, any item can be removed from the consent agenda and placed upon the regular agenda for debate. ITEM A. Approve the assignment of Securities in Lieu of Bond by Public Depositories substituting $300,000.00 U.S. Treasury Notes due 9 -20 -82 for $300,000.00 U.S. Treasury Notes due 3- 31 -80. ITEM B. Authorize staff to enter into a service agreement with Clean Sweep for the sweeping of City streets at the low bid of $3,395.00. ITEM C. Approve the hiring of Mr. Mark Will at the rate of $3.50 /hour effective 4 -24 -79 as a part -time Public Works laborer. ITEM D. Approve the license of Midwest Rides Inc. to operate a carnival at the Mounds View Square Shopping Center from May 15 - May 20, 1979. ITEM E. Accept the petition dated 4 -19 -79 requesting the removal of the stop sign at Hillview Road and Greenfield Avenue. ITEM F. Approve the hiring of Mrs. Connie Langager at the rate of $40.00 /meeting effective 4 -23 -79 as a Clerk Stenographer for the City Council and Planning Commission meetings. ITEM G. Accept the March 1979, activity reports from the Public Works, --Parks, Recreation and Forestry,-Building and Zoning, Police and Nuisance Abatement and Fire Departments. ITEM H. Approve the April 23, 1979, bills for payment: expenditures - $95,945.30; payroll account - $10,410.67. ITEM I.
