Councilmember Rowley reported that Lakeside Park Commission will be
sending a letter back to the County regarding Lakeside Park and what
they have done for the community.
COUNCILMEMBER ZIEBARTH'S REPORT
Councilmember Ziebarth asked if the local planning assistance grant
program application had been returned to the Met Council. Acting
Administrator Anderson replied that it had.
Councilmember Ziebarth reported that he is on the Official Controls
Subcommittee of the Land Use Advisory Committee and that he has asked
to be included on the subcommittee for Noise Pollution, which would
also cover the airport.
Councilmember Ziebarth reported that there would be a Park and Rec
meeting on April 24 and 6:30 PM.
Councilmember Ziebarth also asked that the Council discuss at an agenda
session a way to correct minutes without having to listen to tapes to
verify what was said.
COUNCILMEMBER HODGES' REPORT
Councilmember Hodges had no report.
MAYOR MCCARTY'S REPORT
Mayor McCarty reported that Chuck Hubbard had indicated to the City that
he wanted to come in to advise the City with his firm backing him, rather
than as an individual.
Mayor McCarty reviewed several upcoming meetings.
Mr. Linke asked what was going to be done about the stop sign referred
to at the March 26 meeting. Councilmember Rowley asked that it be put
on the next Council agenda for further discussion, and that they get
comments from the Police Department and make a definite finding at that
time.
