HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000050_pg119CONSENT AGENDA May 29, 1979 The consent agenda is a technique designed to expedite handling of routine and miscellaneous official business of the City Council. The entire agenda may be adopted by the Council in one motion. The motion for adoption is non - debatable and must receive unanimous approval. By request of any individual Council Member, any item can be removed from the consent agenda and placed upon the regular agenda for debate. ITEM A. Authorize the purchase of two signs and posts stating "Deaf Child Area" for the 8000 block of Woodlawn Drive at a cost of $81 to be charged to Contingency. ITEM B. Authorize the Mayor and City Administrator to enter into an agreement between the City of Mounds View and the City of Fridley for the purpose of permitting certain residents in the City of Mounds View to connect onto the City of Fridley's municipal water system. ITEM C. Approve the transfer of $650 from the City Forestry Account, #275 - 450 -4020, to the Recreation Account, #100- 350 -4160. ITEM D. Approve the payment to H. V. Johnston Culvert Company for $120 for the safety cover on the culvert on Ridge Lane out of the City Contingency Fund. ITEM E. Approve the transfer of $350 from the City Contingency Fund to the Garage Vehicle Supplies Account, #100- 180 -4122, for the City vehicle logos. ITEM F. Approve the transfer of $2,510.15 from the City Contingency Account to the Garage Vehicle Maintenance Account, #100 -180 -4122. ITEM G. Adopt Resolution #985 declaring certain tax forfeited lands non - conservation and authorizing sales thereof. ITEM H. Adopt Resolution #986 declaring certain tax forfeited lands non - conservation and authorizing acquisition by the City. ITEM I. Approve the May 29, 1979, bills for payment: Expenditures - $137,653.05; Payroll - $9,113.40
