HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000050_pg154PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Regular Meeting July 23, 1979 Mounds View City Hall 2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View MN 55112 The Mounds View City Council was called to CALL TO ORDER order at 7:35 PM, July 23, 1979 by the Mayor. Members Present: Mayor McCarty, Councilmembers 1. ROLL CALL Forslund, Hodges, Rowley, Ziebarth Members Absent: City Attorney Meyers Also Present: Building & Zoning Official Rose, City Administrator Nelson Ziebarth made the motion, seconded by Forslund the minutes of July 9 be approved as corrected. 4 ayes (Rowley abstained due to absence.) 1 abstention 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES There were none at this time. 3. PETITIONS OR COMPLAINT Hodges made the motion, seconded by Ziebarth to approve the Consent Agenda. ( See attached.) 5 ayes 0 nays The Mayor requested this matter be handled at this time. Mr. Fedor has dropped all complaints in this issue. City Administrator read Resolution 1001 which grants approval of Bowman's appeal to remove the stipulation prohibiting his placement of windows on the south side of his building, toward Fedor's house. Council made an on-site inspection of the residences July 16, 1979. The Council supports the variance granted for substandard side yard setback. Forslund made the motion, seconded by Rowley, to adopt Resolution 1001. 4 ayes (Mayor abstained because it 1 abstention involves friends and neighbors.) The Amundsens seek a minor subdivision of two lots at 7092 Pleasant View Drive. Planning Commission approved, but asked that Parcel A be treated as a corner lot, without requesting an easement. If the city makes it a corner lot, it would have to take an easement, making it a substandard sized lot. A few months ago, a similar request in this area had been reviewed, 4. CONSENT AGENDA 5.
