Sikorski, 8340 Sunnyside Rd., wanted Council to establish their authority to prevent MnDOT from bulldozing their wishes. Mayor informed him of Robinsonb (MnDOT) statement that they needed resolutions from the cities involved and if they differed, negoations would be necessary. Rachel Bardwell, 2932 Cty. Rd. J, stated the traffic had increased on Cty. Rd. J from 9,000 to 11,000 this year, and is very offensive. J. Nelson, 8303 Red Oak Dr., commented that, at a previous informational meeting, a MnDOT rep. had stated, off the record, that public petitions didn't mean anything -- they'd rather see inputs from City Council, churches and schools. Mayor suggested it be brought up at their next School Board meeting. Rowley made the motion, seconded by Ziebarth, to approve Resolution 1016 with the following changes: 1. 7th paragraph should read: NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Mounds View officially requests that MnDOT delay making its Alternate Choice for 45 days after the information has been received and filed by the City of Mounds View. Paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 below should read "No- Build, Upgraded, and Relocated Alternates ". 3. Last paragraph should read: BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that MnDOT hold informational meetings during the 45 -day period. 5 ayes 0 nays Motion was made the Ziebarth, seconded by Rowley to approve the Consent Agenda with removal of Items A, G and H. 5 ayes 0 nays Rose explained the property is located at Red Oak and Fairchild. Both lots have minimum frontage and square footage requirements. Buildings meet minimum setback requirements. Services are avail- able and stubbed. Rear lot line is in alignment with other existing rear lot lines. Storm sewer is inadequate for three -year storm at full develop- ment.
