The Mounds View City Council was called to
order at 7:35 PM, September 10, 1979, by
the Mayor.
1. CALL TO ORDER
Members Present: Mayor McCarty, Council- 2. ROLL CALL
members Forslund, Rowley, and Ziebarth
Members Absent: Hodges (out of town on business)
Also present: City Attorney Meyers, City Admin-
istrator Nelson, Building & Zoning Official Rose
Rowley made the motion, seconded by Ziebarth,
to accept the August 13, 1979 minutes as
corrected.

Rowley made the motion, seconded by Forslund,
to accept the August 27, 1979 minutes as
submitted.

Rowley made the motion, seconded by Ziebarth,
to approve the Consent Agenda. (See attached)

Neil Loeding, 5046 Longview, wished to correct
his statement in the August 27, 1979, minutes
to read " stated his intentions and pointed
out the limitations of his report."
Roger Baumgartner, 7585 Knollwood Drive,
stated that since Machmeier is not a civil
engineer, he is not qualified to draw up
plans and specifications for a drainage
improvement project for Mounds View. He
asked whether he had submitted a bill and
if Council intended to pay him. Mayor
McCarty replied that Council could not
determine whether to pay him or not as a
bill had not been received from Machmeier.

At this time, the Mayor closed the regular 9. HEARINGS
meeting and opened the public hearing.
