PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Regular Meeting <br />October 1, 1979 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View MN 55112 <br />Mayor McCarty called the meeting to order on 1. CALL TO ORDER <br />October 1, 1979 at City Hall at 6:35 p.m. <br />Members Present: Mayor McCarty, Council- 2. ROLL CALL <br />members Forslund, Hodges, Rowley, Ziebarth. <br />Also Present: Clerk- Administrator Nelson <br />The City Council had mailed notices to <br />Sharon McCarthy, Jean Miller, concerning <br />their interests in being appointed ex- officio <br />members of the City's Planning Commission. <br />Nelson stated that Mrs. Miller could not <br />attend the meeting. Sharon McCarthy was able <br />to attend the meeting and the City Council <br />had some general comments with her concerning <br />the appointment and asked her about her interests <br />in this position. <br />The City Administrator noted to the City Council <br />that pursuant to their direction the City had <br />been in contact with the MnDOT. Further, that <br />Mr. Craig Robinson would provide the City Council <br />with an update of the status of Highway 10 and <br />was prepared to address the resolution sent forward <br />by the Staff outlining the City Council concerns <br />about Highway 10. (Note that the above stated <br />resolution is 1016) <br />The first question Mr. Robinson addressed was <br />location of the signalization for non -built <br />Highway 10, upgraded Highway 10, and relocated <br />Highway 10. Mr. Robinson noted that the <br />signalization for no -built would be the same <br />as it presently is found on Highway 10. <br />Signalization found on upgraded Highway 10 <br />would have two additions, one in the vicinity <br />of 35W and another in the vicinity_of Highway <br />65. The signalization for relocated Highway <br />10 would only be at the ramp interchanges. <br />Robinson next addressed the issue of excess to <br />the three proposals. He stated that in the case <br />of the present Highway 10 there would obviously <br />be no changes in the excess locations. <br />3. INTERVIEWED <br />4. HIGHWAY 10 UPDATE <br />
