CALL TO ORDER October 1, 1979 at City Hall at 6:35 p.m. Members Present: Mayor McCarty, Council- 2. ROLL CALL members Forslund, Hodges, Rowley, Ziebarth. Also Present: Clerk- Administrator Nelson The City Council had mailed notices to Sharon McCarthy, Jean Miller, concerning their interests in being appointed ex- officio members of the City's Planning Commission. Nelson stated that Mrs. Miller could not attend the meeting. Sharon McCarthy was able to attend the meeting and the City Council had some general comments with her concerning the appointment and asked her about her interests in this position. The City Administrator noted to the City Council that pursuant to their direction the City had been in contact with the MnDOT. Further, that Mr. Craig Robinson would provide the City Council with an update of the status of Highway 10 and was prepared to address the resolution sent forward by the Staff outlining the City Council concerns about Highway 10. (Note that the above stated resolution is 1016) The first question Mr. Robinson addressed was location of the signalization for non -built Highway 10, upgraded Highway 10, and relocated Highway 10. Mr. Robinson noted that the signalization for no -built would be the same as it presently is found on Highway 10. Signalization found on upgraded Highway 10 would have two additions, one in the vicinity of 35W and another in the vicinity_of Highway 65. The signalization for relocated Highway 10 would only be at the ramp interchanges. Robinson next addressed the issue of excess to the three proposals. He stated that in the case of the present Highway 10 there would obviously be no changes in the excess locations. 3. INTERVIEWED 4. HIGHWAY 10 UPDATE
