Dennis Pietrine of 8434 Sunnyside Road
expressed a concern about the impact the
relocated Highway 10 and interchange would
have on the elementary school in the area.
Council thanked Mr. Robinson for his meeting
with the City Council and looked forward to
having dates set for additional public infor-
mation meetings regarding Highway 10 and the
upgraded plans for Highway 10.
City Administrator submitted to the City
Council four resolutions to be adopted
by the City Council with respect to the 1980
budget adoption.
Ziebarth moved the adoption of Resolution No.
1028 adopting the 1980 City's Operating Budget
and it was seconded by Rowley. Motion carried:

Hodges moved the adoption of Re s o l u t i o nNo .
1029 Authorizing the Issuance of Debt Certifi-
cates in 1980. This was seconded by Ziebarth.
Motion carried:
5 ayes

Forslund moved the adoption of Resolution No.
1030, Certifying Bonds and Interest to be
collected in 1980. This was seconded by Rowely.
Motion carried:
5 ayes

Rowley moved the adoption of Resolution No.
1031, Certifying 1980 General and Forestry
Funds Property Tax Levies. This was seconded
by Hodges. Motion carried:
5 ayes
0 nays
This ended the City's actions on adopting the
1980 Budget. The City also received from the
City Finance Director request to accept pledges
of security from the First State Bank of New
Brighton on certificates of deposits at that
bank. Hodges moved the adoption of Resolution
No. 1032, Acception Pledges of Security from
the First State Bank of New Brighton. Forslund
seconded the motion which carried:
