The Mounds View City Council was called to
order at 7:30 PM, October 9, 1979, by the
Mayor.
Members Present: Mayor McCarty, Council-
members Forslund, Hodges, Ziebarth,
Rowley (arrived at 8:00 PM)
Members Absent: None
Aso Present: City Attorney Meyers, City
Administrator Nelson, Building & Zoning
Official Rose.

Hodges made the motion, seconded by Ziebarth, 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
to approve the minutes as corrected. OF 9/24/79

Forslund requested Item B of the Consent
Agenda: 'Resolution 1034, Increasing Water
and Sewer Rates Effective January 1, 1980"
be removed.
Ziebarth made the motion, seconded by Hodges,
that the Consent Agenda be approved, minus
Item B. (See attached)

The City Administrator read Resolution 1034
to those present.
Forslund suggested that the citizens should
hear the reasons behind the increase in
water and sewer rates.
Ziebarth made the motion, seconded by Forslund,
that City Council should set a hearing for
the November 12, 1979, Council meeting (7:30 PM)
to explain the increase in water and sewer
rates effective January 1, 1980.
