3) Re: Edgewood apartments - -City will
inspect tomorrow to see if violations have
been corrected. The other apartment complex
with violations cited has corrected the bug
infestation problem.
McCarty: 1) Recommends appointment of Sharon
McCarthy, 7760 Long Lake Rd., as member desig-
nate of Planning Commission.
Hodges made the motion, seconded by Ziebarth,
that Council carry out the Mayor's recommend-
ation to appoint Sharon McCarthy as ex- officio
member of Planning Commission through 1980.

2) Suggested Council and Administrator get
together to prioritize goals and initiate plans
to form neighborhood groups to work with the
Council. Neighborhood involvement is one of
the steps toward establishing City long -range
goals, policies and implementation tools.
Nov. 17 was set for the meeting of Staff,
Council and Planning Commission, with a
December meeting to follow including everyone.
Councilmember Rowley arrived at this time (8 PM).
Rowley: Announced that the Lakeside Park meeting
will be held Thursday, 10/11/79.
Rose explained the Faircon, Inc. development
proposal for a 36,000 sq. ft. office /ware-
house building for Lot #7 of Mounds View
Industrial Park #3. (The details of this
proposal are contained in the Summary pre-
pared by Staff under Case #38 -79.)
Planning Commission approved this request
and a 10' variance for curb cut for the
entrance to the parking area.
Sewer connection cannot be made until PCA
approves a sewer extension permit for Mustang
Circle. This approval could be granted on
10/23/79.
