Regular Meeting
November 13, 1979
The Council reviewed the various communications
that occurred with Machmeier in an effort to
determine how the misunderstanding took place.
A discussion took place regarding the amount of
benefit received as a result of Machmeier's
report. Mayor McCarty stated that a verbal
directive from Machmeier had prompted the
City to reverse the storm sewer cleaning
procedures. Bill Doty felt the implementation
of recommendations found in Machmeier's report
represents a commitment for the City to pay him.
Roger Baumgartner, 7585 Knollwood Dr., con-
tributed 9 copies of Machmeier's report, and
recommended the citizens should read the report
and make up their own. minds.
McCarty called for the question, seconded by
Forslund.
