on the Charbonneau property at 7:50 PM,
January 3, 1980. It was seconded by
Ziebarth.

Forslund-- Asked the status of the Cable
TV commission--urged the commission to
get underway. Nelson stated the letter
will be going to the commission for their
study by 12/27/79. They will be sworn in,
and will establish meeting dates and goals.
llowity.-- 1) Will be presenting Mounds
View's position re: airport to a legislative
sub-committee later in the week.
8. REPORTS OF COUNCIL-
MEMBERS/ADMINISTRATOR
2) Lakeside Park. meeting tentatively 12/13.
Lakeside Committee, Rowley & Linke did not meet
with Commissioner Orth last Thursday, but will reschedule.
3) Suggested Council prepare a commendation
for Teacher of the Year, Cecilia Quaife.
4) Suggested Council sit down with Staff
to go over the new Charter in order to be ready by
the 90-day,period for the ordinance required by chapter
8 of the Charter.
Rowley moved the agenda meeting begin at
6:30 PM, December 17, 1979. It was seconded
by Forslund.
The motion carried.

Neil Loeding was asked to be present
after 7:30 PM,
5) Noted that the number one candidate for
patrolman was unable to accept the position.
Rowley moved that the position of patrolmen
be offered to Timothy Patrick Brennan at
patrolman's salary, subject to the customary
probationary period, beginning
1/1/80. It was seconded by Hodges.
The motion carried.
