Mayor Mc Carty called the Special Meeting 1. CALL TO ORDER
to order at 6:20 p.m.
Present at the meeting were: Mayor McCarty, 2. ROLL CALL
Councllmembers Forslund, Hodges, Ziebarth.
Members Absent: Rowley was absent due to
illness.
Also Present: Clerk-Administrator Jeff Nelson
The primary purpose of the meeting was to
provide Mr. Nelson with an evaluation
and to determine conditions for an
employment contract.
The City had received on the 20th of December 3. MINNESOTA GOVERNMENT
letter from the League of Minnesota Cities. PRACTICES ACT
The purpose was to inform the City about the
new public documents law and who was to
control them. Nelson asked the City Council
to authorize him to be the responsible document
control officer and to have all the City's
records temporarily classified until an
ordinance could be drafted.
Ziebarth moved to respond to the League request
to classify the Citys' documents as to have
the Clerk-Administrator be responsible for the
records. Mc Carty seconded the motion which
carried:

The Council decided to close the special 4. ADJOURNMENT
meeting.
Ziebarth moved to adjourn. It was seconded
by Hodges. Motion carried:
4 ayes
0 nays
The meeting was adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
