The citizens' check which was presented
at the November 13 Council meeting will
be returned.
McCarty moved that the $1000 to pay Dr.
Machmeier should come from the SDM Fund.
Second by Ziebarth.

REPORTS -- COUNCILMEMBERS

Rowley: 1) Requested rundown on street
maintenance. Nelson said it will be ready
by the 1/21 meeting so a decision can be
made by 1/28. Rowley urged bids be made early.
2) Hwy. 10-- Suggested holding off until the
February 5 agenda meeting.
3) Lakeside Park -- appears to be of overall
benefit to let Lakeside Pk. go to the County.
Need direction as to what steps to take,
timeframe, how to handle deed, etc.
Attorney Meyers will look into it.
4) Planning Commission has asked specific
questions, such as possible moratorium,
etc.; will be discussed at 1/22 and 1/29
meetings.
5) Have talked to Dept. Heads and they
have concerns as to duties under the Charter.
Rowley moved to hold special meetings with
Dept. Heads 4:00 - 6:00 January 21 regarding
interpretation of the Charter. Second by
Forslund. 5 ayes

Hodges: 1) Noted that work will begin soon
on the Mounds View Recognition Dinner.
McCarty: 1) Street light - -a letter
containing a cost estimate is forthcoming
from Official Rose.
2) McCarty moved to delay the newsletter
publication until mid - February. Second by
Ziebarth.
