Rowley next indicated to the City Council
that the Ramsey County Park Commission
would be discussing the acquisition of
Lakeside Park on February 25th at 7:00 AM
at the Ramsey County Court House.
Rowley mentioned to the City Council that
Lakeside Park was in the process of utiliz-
ing Operation ID on the permanent equipment
belonging to the Commission.
She also brought to the City Council's at-
tention regarding Lakeside Park that one
vacancy remains open on the Commission.
The Commission had stated that they were
desirous of having a senior citizen on that
body. Mayor McCarty requested that Mrs.
Edna Young who is the President of the
Senior's Association in the City be sent a
letter stating the Commissions desire and
if she would announce that to her member-
ship. Nelson stated that this would be
done.
Councilman Rowley next responded to a memo
sent to the City Council from the Staff that
February 18th was a legal holiday, conse-
quently the City Council would have to re-
schedule their regularly scheduled Agenda
Session for that time period. Rowley moved
that the Council reschedule it's Agenda
Session from February 18th to February 19th
at the same time, because the 18th being a
legal holiday. Forslund seconded the motion.
