HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000052_pg076MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL Regular Meeting Page 6 March 10,1980 Jerry Blanchard representing the Lions Club requested that the Lions Club be allowed to use the same area along Highway 10 near the Launching Pad that they have used in the past years to hold a Flea Market. It would be tentatively scheduled for May 10th as the opening and would run through until Labor Day. Project that the Lions Club proposes for the year would be the installation of a PA System within City Hall. Staff was directed to review the requirements imposed upon the Lions Club last year and present them to the City Council by the 17th of March. 12. LION'S CLUB FLEA MARKET Elements submitted to the City Council 13. CONSENT AGENDA Consent Agenda (which is attached to the end of this set of Minutes). There were no questions raised by the City Council over the Consent Agenda. Ziebarth moved to adopt the Consent Agenda as submitted and dispense with the reading of the Resolutions contained therein. Hodges seconded the motion. The motion carried. 5 ayes 0 nays Nelson had prepared for the City Council 14. RESOLUTION 1091 a Resolution 1091 extending the length of time from 15 days to 30 days for the collection of utility receipts before a penalty is imposed by the City as a late fee. This Resolution was drafted at the Council's direction. Hodges moved the adoption of Resolution 1091, it was seconded by Forslund. The motion carried. 5 ayes 0 nays The Park Commission had submitted to the 15. PARK COMMISSION REQUESTS City Council a list of dates for public hearings to be held on their proposed Comprehensive Park Plan. It requested of the City Council concurrent with both the time schedule and the format used in the public hearings. The Council pro- vided general concensus that they agreed with the schedule and decided to see the Park Commission on the 7th of April at their Agenda Session for that evening to hear the presentation of the Commis- sion.
