Nelson noted to the City Council that
Resolution 1096 adjust funds within
the budget allocations for the Street
Department in 1980 to allow for the
street repairs. Hodges moved the
adoption of Resolution 1096 and to
dispense with the reading. Forslund
seconded the motion.

9. 1096 - RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING
FUNDS WITHIN THE STREET DEPT.
FOR 1980
Nelson indicated to City Council that 10. CAR BIDS
the low bidder for the standard pickups
had made an error in calculating his
bid and it came in $240 lower than it
should have been. Nelson and Brager had
researched this information with the
Bid Awards and with the City Attorney.
It appears that the bid that was-submit-
ted is the one that the Council acted on.
The City Council maintained the bid as
awarded.
The City had recently acquired a new 11. PITNEY BOWES MAINTENANCE
mailing machine and the maintenance CONTRACT
agreement for that machine was $134.
Nelson asked the City Council if they
desired to have a contract signed on
that machine. Hodges moved to approve
a maintenance agreement for $134 with
Pitney Bowes Company to maintain the
mailing machine recently required.
Rowley seconded the motion.
