Hodges moved to advertise for the position of City Accountant for a salary range not to exceed the amount of $16,000 per year. Ziebarth seconded the motion. The motion carried. 5 ayes 0 nays The Administrator informed the Council that he had the Superinten- dent evaluate the proposed April 26th date for Clean -Up -Day. The Superin- tendent felt this was the best period for that activity. Rowley moved that the City's Annual Clean -Up -Day be held on April 26th and if the weather was inclement it would be held on May 3rd. Ziebarth seconded the motion. The motion carried. 5 ayes 0 nays Staff was directed to draft a procla- mation on this subject. Brager provided the Council with background information how the City insurance program is handled and managed by his department. He also informed them that, although the insurance (liability) is coming due on May 1st, that the City doesn't have to go out for bids. He noted that an insurance provider had written each of the Council about a proposal. He wanted to know what the Council wanted the Staff to do concerning this matter. The Council told Staff to resolve the matter, by having him submit his proposal to the director to allow him to evaluate the proposal. 4. CLEAN -UP DAY 5. INSURANCE PROGRAM
