Mayor McCarty noted that the City had
not completely adjusted Nelson's wages in
1979. The City should correct the pay
periods between December 4, 1979 to
December 31, 1979. The rate would be
the same as adjusted in January, 1980.
The Mayor moved to authorize the
adjustment of Nelson's wages for the
period, December 4 - 31, 1979 to a
rate equal to that established at the
annual meeting in January, 1980. Hodges
seconded the motion.
The motion carried.

6. WAGE ADJUSTMENT
The Mayor suggested the following for 7. SEVERANCE PAY
severance pay for Nelson: all accrued
vacation, sick leave and two weeks upon
completion of the last day worked.
The Mayor moved the above as a motion.
Ziebarth seconded the motion.
The motion carried.

The Mayor requested a Special Meeting 8. SPECIAL MEETING
at 5:30 P.M. on April 17th. The APRIL 17th
purpose of the meeting was to discuss
the position of an Acting Clerk- Adminis-
trator.
Mayor moved the Special Meeting as
described above. It was seconded by
Hodges.
The motion carried.

(Ziebarth voted nay because he felt
he could not attend the meeting).
The Mayor requested the Status of the
negotiations for the 1980 Union Contract.
Nelson stated that the City had not
settled. However, checks would be
prepared for back pay from Jan. 1, 1980
for the membership at the Light Equip-
ment Operator date.
