The Council discussed a letter Mr. Fossen
had presented to them requesting a sign
for restricted parking be installed in this
area. (This matter was also discussed at
the March 10, 1980, City Council meeting.)
After a general discussion of the matter,
the Mayor requested Staff to write a note
to Mr. Fossen indicating that Council felt
the sign for restrict parking would not
rectify the situation, but that the matter
was being taken under advisement by the
Council.
Nelson stated that they be withdrawn from
discussion until April 28th at developers'
request. The developers have not been able
to get approval from Rice Creek because they
are missing two exhibits: 1) alteration of
wetlands, 2) exhibits relative to erosion
control.
Nelson announced that the Society for the
Blind in St. Paul were having an open house
on April 21st. If anyone wanted more infor-
mation on this, they could contact him.
Nelson announced the TRA consultants were
having an open house on May 3rd from 11:00
a.m. - 4:00 p.m. in the Blaine City Hall.
Information pertaining to the master plan
city will be on display and representative
will be available for assistance.
Rowley made a motion that staff be directed
to advertise for bids on a three wheel truck -
ster on April 16th and 24th and to schedule
a bid opening for Monday, April 28, 1980, at
10:00 a.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers.
