Rowley made a motion that we authorize staff to ask Pat Michna to work an additional 4.hours per day during this period and that her pay come out of the administrative budget. Hodges seconded the motion. The motion carried. 4 ayes 0 nays Mayor made a motion that Bruce Anderson be appointed to be the temporary clerk - administrator and that his signature be placed on authorization cards. Further, he will be bonded for this posi- tion and he should be appointed the responsible party for all documents effective May 1, 1980. The motion carried. 4 ayes 0 nays Mr. Anderson requested that an information meeting be held to explain fully to him the expectations of the Council and himself in this temporary role. This will be done tomorrow morning (4/29/80). Official Rose has interviewed three applicants and found the most qualified candidate to be Renate Vick. Rowley made a motion to hire Renate Vick for $5.00 /hour with a probable starting date of May 14, 1980. Ziebarth seconded the motion. The motion carried. 4 ayes 0 nays Official Rose noted that two other employees are currently receiving lower rates than this figure and this discrepancy needs to be addressed during the compensation study. Official Rose noted that the City has received a letter from Rice Creek Watershed regarding Dynamic Builders proposed duplexes on Woodlawn Drive. Rose suggests the Council discuss this at the next work- ing session on May 5, 1980. 13. TEMPORARY SECRETARIAL HELP FROM POLICE DEPARTMENT 14.
