HomeMy WebLinkAboutgr00090_000053_pg192CONSENT AGENDA July 14, 1980 The consent agenda is a technique designed to expedite handling of routine and miscellaneous official business of the City Council. The entire agenda may be adopted by the Council in one motion. The motion for adoption is non - debatable and must receive unanimous approval. By request of any individual Council - member, any item can be removed from the consent agenda and placed upon the regular agenda for debate. ITEM A. Authorize Superintendent of Public Works Larry Decheine to take home a city vehicle with the understanding that he adhere to the City Vehicle Policy. ITEM B. Approve the expenditure of $2,200 from the Storm Drainage Management account for the topographical survey work to be completed by Short - Elliott- Hendrickson, Inc. ITEM C. Approve the leave without pay schedule for Janice Wiehle for the week of July 14 -18 ITEM D. Approve the vacation schedule for Jack Shields for the week July 28 - August 1, and August 25 -29 ITEM E. Approve request from Donald Balk for sewer connection refunds from 1978 totaling $385.00 to be paid from the City Sewer Utility ITEM F. Authorize staff to purchase an additional $1.5 million insurance coverage for the 5th Annual Festival in the Park to be paid from the Festivities Commission account ITEM G. Establish June 21, 1980 at 8:00 p.m. as a joint meeting with the Park and Recreation Commission to review the possibility of a Fall Park Referendum ITEM H. Appoint Barbara Ann Collins as a full time employee who has successfully completed her 6 month probation at the rate of $4.25 /hour ITEM I. Licenses for approval: CONTRACTORS - Expire 6/30/80 EXCAVATION - Renewal Carl Bolander & Sons Brighton Excavation Julian M. Johnson Construction
