MOTION: Rowley made a motion, seconded by Hodges, that Council meet on September 16th, 18th, 23rd, and 25th with a public hearing set for October 7th, for the purpose of budget discussion. The meetings will be at 7:00 P.M. Ayes-5 Nays-0 Mr. Hale has requested a peddlers license for selling grapefruit and oranges in the City of Mounds View. Mr. Hale was not present at the meeting. MOTION: Rowley made a motion, seconded by Ziebarth, to delay action on the peddlers license until Mr. Hale could be present. Ayes-5 Nays-0 Zicial Rose reviewed the changes in the M & E Realty/ Kraus-Anderson agreement. He noted the attorneys from M & E were updating the contract and would be sending it to Attorney Meyers to verify title. 11. CITY BUDGET MEETINGS SCHEDULE MOTION CARRIES 12. PEDDLER LICENSE FOR BILL HALE, Route 1, Rolling Meadows, Claremore, Oklahome MOTION CARRIES 13. M & E REALTY/ KRAUS-ANDERSON AGREEMENT Official Rose also suggested to Council that the deadline for the transaction be set for October 1st so the trans- fer could take place prior to October 15th (this would allow the City to exempt the property on taxes). He also stated that if the City could not abate the taxes, the City could be liable for taxes in the amount of $13,000. He recommended that Council move on this so the City wouldn't lose LocoN. MOTION: McCarty made a motion, seconded by Ziebarth, to accept the M & E contract as presented to the Council at this meeting on September 8, 1980, and to authorize the;Mayor and Administrator to enter into the agreement as presented. Further, that Council authorize Staff to continue the process to consumate the transfer of properties for Silverview Park. Ayes-Hodges, Forslund, Rowley, Ziebarth, McCarty Nay s-0 MOTION CARRIES
