AMENDMENT TO MOTION: Ziebarth made a motion,
seconded by Rowley, to amend the main motion
by tabling it until the next regular meeting.
Ayes - Rowley, Ziebarth
Nays - Bodges, Forslund, McCarty MOTION FAILS.
MOTION: McCarty made a motion, seconded by
Forslund, to grant a 4' variance to the drive-
way setback to Mr. Odle, 8070 Red Oak Drive,
in keeping with past precedence.
Ayes - Forslund, Hodges, McCarty
* Nays - Rowley, Ziebarth MOTION CARRIES.
*Both Rowley and Ziebarth noted that they
voted nay because they felt this item
should be put on the regular agenda to be
voted upon rather than taking action when
it was an agenda item presented by the
resident.
Mayor McCarty asked to have items #F and #G 8. CONSENT AGENDA
removed from the consent agenda for discussion.
MOTION: Ziebarth made a motion, seconded by
Rowley, to approve the consent agenda Items
A -E, H, and I and to waive the reading of the
resolutions.
Ayes -5
Nays -0
MOTION CARRIES.
Mayor McCarty wanted to note that Item #F,
approval of the proposal from the Layne Minne-
sota Company for $5,702.62 repair of Well #3
would be paid from the water fund.
Mayor McCarty wanted to clarify his position
on Item #G (Invoice from School District #621
for City's share of Edgewood Tennis Court
Contract as per Agreement made on 6- 9 -80).
He stated that, although his position of not
favoring this agreement remained the same, he
was obligated to honor the joint powers agree-
ment. Councilmember Forslund also agreed with
this statement.
Councilmembers Ziebarth and Hodges also noted
that their vote in favor of this agreement also
remained unchanged, as did Councilmember Rowley.
