CALL TO ORDER Members Present: Rowley, Hodges, Forslund, 2. ROLL CALL and Mayor McCarty. Members Absent: Ziebarth Also Present: Clerk - Administrator Pauley and Attorney Meyers. THE REGULAR MEETING CLOSED AT 7:31 P.M. THE PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE 1980 LONG TERM FINANCIAL PLAN OPENED AT 7:31 P.M. Mayor McCarty asked if there were any comments or questions from the audience: Bill Dody, 3049 Bronson Drive- He stated that he was going to be on the Council beginning in January, 1981. He would like to see the proposed Miller and Edgewood projects removed from the 1981 long term financial plan since they were both still tentative proposals. There were no other comments from the audience or the council. THE PUBLIC HEARING CLOSED AT 7:34 P ,,M. THE REGULAR MEETING RE- OPENED AT 7:34 P.M. Finance Director Don Brager presented a brief explanation of the justification for increasing the sewer rates in Mounds View. He stated that because of the increase in charges from the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission as well as the extra expense of two sewer main breaks in the last years, the rates for the Mounds View citizens would be increased to approximately $.50 /month /resident. If the rates continued at their current level, the City would not be able to meet their expenses in this area of the budget. 3. PUt3LIC rEARING 1980 LONG TERM FINANCIAL PLAN 4.
