Finance Director Don Brager presented a brief
explanation of the justification for increasing
the sewer rates in Mounds View. He stated that
because of the increase in charges from the
Metropolitan Waste Control Commission as well
as the extra expense of two sewer main breaks
in the last years, the rates for the Mounds View
citizens would be increased to approximately
$.50 /month /resident. If the rates continued at
their current level, the City would not be able
to meet their expenses in this area of the budget.
