Upon further discussion, the Council asked
Administrator Pauley to obtain another cost
estimate of the study from the city engineer
as well as an estimate from two other engineers.
This item will be dropped from the consent
agenda for further action
Doty (Item H) He asked for clarification of
amusement devices for the license request of
the Launching Pad. Administrator Pauley
noted that this included both electronic and
non - electronic amusement devices.
MOTION: Doty made a motion, seconded by Hodges,
to approve Item H of the consent agenda (licenses
for approval) and to waive the reading of the
resolution.
Ayes -5
Nays -0 MOTION CARRIED.
Forslund -(Item F) She noted the phrase "manditory
code compliance" had a harsh tone for a resolution
approving a conditional use permit. Administrator
Pauley noted that complaints regarding code
compliance with this permit would be handled on
an individual basis and some complaints could be
handled in a simple manner.
MOTION: Forslund made a motion, seconded by Doty
to approve Item F (Approval of Resolution #1230
approving the conditional use permit for used auto
sales and minor auto repair at 2848 Highway 10)
and to waive the reading of the resolution.
Ayes -5
Nays -0 MOTION CARRIED.
McCarty -(Item A) -He asked Administrator Pauley if
Silver Lake Road had to be an MSA road if the
adjoining County Road I was designated as an MSA
road. Administrator Pauley stated MSA streets /roads
could connect with either a county road /street or
another MSA road /street.
MOTION: McCarty made a motion, seconded by Doty,
to approve Item B(Approving Resolution #1232 desig-
nating County Road I from Silver Lake Road to High-
way 10 as a Minnesota State Aid Street) and to waive
the reading.

Nays -0 MOTION CARRIED.
