February 2, 1981
The Special Meeting was called to order
at 7:08 p.m. on February 2, 1981, by
Mayor McCarty.
Members Present - Councilmembers Hodges,
Forslund, Doty, Blanchard and Mayor
McCarty
Others Present - Clerk- Administrator Pauley
Mayor McCarty indicated that the purpose
of the Special Meeting was to consider
an Ordinance Prohibiting Development of
Private Wetlands on an Interim Basis.
McCarty and Clerk - Administrator Pauley
advised the Council of the statutory
authority for such an interim ordinance
to allow time for the performance of a
Wetlands Management Study which would
provide the information necessary for
the adoption of a formal wetlands
ordinance.
MOTION: Councilmember Forslund made a
motion, seconded by Doty, to approve the
first reading of Ordinance No. 301 (An
Ordinance Prohibiting Development of
Private Wetlands on an Interim Basis).
Clerk - Administrator Pauley then read the
ordinance.
Ayes- Hodges, Forslund, Doty, Blanchard,
McCarty
Nays -0 MOTION CARRIED
MOTION: Councilmember Hodges made a
motion, seconded by Forslund, to adjourn
the February 2, 1981, Special City
Council meeting.
Ayes -5
Nays -0
MOTION CARRIED
The meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
