The consent agenda is a technique designed to expedite handling of
routine and miscellaneous official business of the City Council.
The entire agenda may be adopted by the Council in one motion. The
motion for adoption is non - debatable and must receive unanimous
approval. By request of any individual Councilmember, any item can
be removed from the consent agenda and placed upon the regular agenda
for debate.
ITEM A. Adopt Resolution No. 1233 Commending the Spring Lake Park,
Blaine, Mounds View Fire Department for Their Donation to
the City of Mounds View
ITEM B. Adopt Resolution No. 1235 - Resolution of Appreciation to
the Nation of Algeria
ITEM C. Adopt Resolution No. 1236 - Resolution Amending Resolution
No. 1072 Appointing a Responsible Authority and Assigning
Duties
ITEM D. Adopt Resolution No. 1237 - Resolution Appointing
Mr. Ed Letendre to the Mounds View Parks and Recreation
Commission
ITEM E. Adopt Resolution No. 1238 - Resolution Authorizing the
Installation of a Speaker Phone and Transfer of Funds
ITEM F. Adopt Resolution No. 1239 - Resolution Authorizing the
Purchase of Bulletproof Vests for the Police Department
and the Transfer of Funds
ITEM G. Authorize Advertisement of Bids for Street Sweeping with
Letting Date of March 2, 1981, 9:00 a.m.
ITEM H. Authorize Mayor McCarty and City Administrator to Enter
Into a Formal Agreement for the Phase One Planning of
Silver View Park with Saunders /Thalden and Associates Not
to Exceed $6,500:00 with the Monies Budgeted from the
State and Federal L.A.W.C.O.N. Grants
