MOTION: Doty made a motion, seconded by
Forslund to approve the January 26, 1981
minutes (regular meeting) as corrected.
Ayes -3 Nays -0 MOTION CARRIED.
MOTION: Doty made a motion, seconded by
Blanchard to approve the February 2, 1981
special meeting minutes as presented.
Ayes -3 Nays -0 MOTION CARRIED.
Jim Miller asked when his public hearing
was going to be set (Case 47 -80). Official
Rose stated it was to be set on February 23rd.

Audience
Forslund asked Administrator Pauley to read 6. Approval of
Resolutions #1233 and #1235. Consent Agenda
Administrator Pauley read Resolution #1233
(Commending the Spring Lake Park, Blaine,
and Mounds View Fire Departments for their
donation to the City Of Mounds View) and
Resolution #1235 (A resolution of appreciation
to the Nation of Algeria).
MOTION: Blanchard made a motion, seconded by
Doty to approve the consent agenda and to
waive the reading of the other resolutions.
Ayes -3 Nays -0 MOTION CARRIED.
7. Quarterly Reports
FINANCE DIRECTOR BRAGER: He noted that, among
the regular activities, his department was:
- In the process of preparing for the 1980 audit.
(George M. Hanson was selected for the audit).
- Sharing data processing services to minimize
costs with 4 other cities.
PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT DECHEINE:
- The rotating schedule for the maintenance
men is working well. It helps them to keep up
their knowledge and expertise in all the areas
involved in public works.
- He said 75% of the sanitary sewer cleaning
was finished in 1980, and he hoped to complete
the remaining sewers starting this spring.
-He also hoped to have the storm sewer cleaning
completed this spring.
