No report. (Attorney not present) 18. CITY ATTORNEY
Doty:
He would like to have the Council vote on
Resolution #1242 (allowing larger garbage
cans to be used within the city for a trial
period). This could not be voted on at
the last meeting because it did not receive
a 3/5 or more affirmative vote.
MOTION: Doty made a motion, seconded by
Hodges to adopt Resolution #1242 and to
waive the reading of the resolution.
Ayes -4 Nays -0 MOTION CARRIED.
Forslund:
1. She asked Official Rose on the status
of the MTC Park and Ride Facilities. Official
Rose informed her that the Planning Commission
would be reviewing this proposal on March 4th
and the recommendations would be sent on to the
Council. The Council noted approval of this
proposal to implement this facility.
MOTION: McCarty made a motion, seconded by
Forslund to direct staff to send a letter of
support to MTC for the park and ride facilities.
Ayes -4 Nays -0 MOTION CARRIED.
Hodges:
He asked Administrator Pauley if he had contacted
Mr. Hogen, a local private consultant, who may
be interested in conducting the wetlands manage-
ment study. Pauley noted that Mr. Hogen had the
degree and credentials and would provide examples
of his work when he met with the Council to
discuss the project. The Council discussed
setting up a special meeting on the 16th with
him.
