MOTION: Councilmember Doty made a motion, seconded by Blanchard, to advertise for bids for Group Health Insurance Coverage and to close the bidding on March 30, 1981. Ayes -5 Nays -0 MOTION CARRIED. Clerk- Administrator Pauley presented bids for street sweeping. He said that two of the bids had been invalid because of not complying with specifications. Clerk - Administrator Pauley said that he recommended that American Sweepers, Inc. be awarded the bid. MOTION: Mayor McCarty made a motion, seconded by Hodges, to grant American Sweepers, Inc. the bid in the amount of $3,850.00. Ayes -5 Nays -0 MOTION CARRIED. 13. Consideration of Street Sweeping Bids and Staff Recommendations City Attorney Meyers discussed that the County 14. Report of Attorney may again consider the County Court Proposal. He said that a hearing would be held on Monday, March 16, 1981, at 1:30 p.m., and that Clerk - Administrator Pauley would be attending the hearing. Blanchard: No report. 15. Reports of Councilmembers Doty: He attended a meeting with the Parks and Recreation Commission on February 26, 1981, and discussed the possibility of a Joint Powers Agreement with the City of Spring Lake Park regarding Lakeside Park. He noted that some of the Planning Commission members had met with the Parks and Recreation Commission to discuss the Comprehensive Plan and the Parks Plan. He further discussed an article written by Jimmy Schwartz in the New Brighton Bulletin. Hodges: He noted a meeting that he had attended with the N.W. Suburban Youth Service Bureau.
