Mayor McCarty returned at 8:38 p.m. Discussion took place regarding the printing error that had been made on Page 35 of the Capital Improvements Program. COUNCIL RECESS FOR A BREAK: 8:46 p.m. COUNCIL RE- CONVENED AT: 8:56 p.m. MOTION: Councilmember Doty made a motion, seconded by Councilmember Hodges to adopt Resolution 1265, with the changes that would take place on Page 35 of the Capital Improve- ments Program to be the same as what is on Page 158 of the Development Framework under Municipal Bonding Authority and to let the Planning Commission ratify what they have done, and to waive the reading of the Resolution. Ayes -5 Nays -0 MOTION CARRIED. Discussion took place regarding Item 0 of the Consent Agenda, Councilmember Hodges stated that May 2nd has been set aside for clean -up day. Parks, Recreation and Forestry Director Anderson reviewed the bids for the installation of underground electrical service to the City Hall Park picnic shelter. He stated that staff had received four bids, and that they were recommending that the bid be awarded to Collins Electric. He discussed the required specifi- cations. He stated that Collins Electric had not included ground fault protectors in their original bid, it would be an additional $600.00, making their total bid $2,975.00. Councilmember Doty asked if there were any unfore- seen funds in the Park and Recreation Fund that could make up for the difference in the bid. Parks, Recreation and Forestry Director Anderson stated that the only area in which they would be saving money was the brochure printing. MOTION: Councilmember Doty made a motion, seconded by Councilmember Hodges to adopt Resolution 1262, awarding the bid to Collins Electric in the amount of $2,975.00, and to transfer funds that are avail- able from the Parks and Recreation Fund that would have been used in printing of the brochure. 6. Consideration of Electrical bids for wiring of the City Hall Picnic Shelter and Resolution No. 1262 author- izing the installation of wiring and transfer of funds.
