made to the picnic shelter.
- Park Board Referendum Tax Force.
- Park Commission Meeting on May 21, 1981.
- Preliminary grant application for Phase II of
Silver View Park.
- Joint Powers Agreement with school district
regarding Edgewood Park.
- No football this fall because of new use of the fields.
- 14 trees were donated to the park system. Two trees
were conifers valued at $800 each.
- Wood pile survey has been completed.
- Planted 2,500 trees in Arden Park, making total 4,000.
- Three newletters sent out.
- 2,000 Ball Field Permits issued.
- Lakeside Park Commission Meeting May 30, 1981.
- Student intern from University of Wisconsin to
work in Park Department.
Police Officer Tim Smith made a presentation of
Police Report.
Summary of Report:
- Police Officer's Chambers and Krogg were injured.
- $300 repair bill for squad car #2792.
Clerk /Administrator Pauley stated that the new
squad cars should be here in a month.
MOTION: Mayor McCarty made a motion, seconded
by Counciimember Forslundto authorize Clerk/
Administrator Pauley to transfer funds out of
Account #4704 for the repair of Squad Car #2792.

Offical Rose presented the Building and Zoning
Report.
Summary of Report:
- 25 Building Permits, 35 Merchanical Permits
issued.
- 217 new inspections and 312 reinspections made.
- 13 Planning cases.
- Comprehensive Plan is at Metropolitan Council.
- Permanent hire of Planning Secretary.
Parks /Recreation and Forestry Director Anderson 14. Awarding of 1981 -1982 Tree
made a presentation of the 1981 -1982 Tree and and Stump Removal Contract
Stump removal Contract. He discussed in length
the bid tabulation process.
