Report of Attorney Councilmember Doty stated he had not been able to attend the Park meeting, and had no report. Councilmember Blanchard referred to the Ramsey County League newsletter and stated she would not be able to attend the meeting. Councilmember Hodges inquired as to the letter from Mr. Smith, regarding a pothole in the road. Clerk /Administrator Pauley replied that it had been turned over to the insurance company. Mayor McCarty reported that he had attended a subcommittee meeting for the Metropolitan Airport Commission and reviewed what had happened. Motion /Second: McCarty /Blanchard to authorize the City Attorney to review the Metropolitan Development Guide and determine if they are legal in their approach to the 1980 session laws. 5 ayes 21. Reports of Council - members 0 nays Motion Carried Mayor McCarty reported that the Wetlands Committee meeting would be scheduled for Thursday, June 18th at 7 PM, Mayor McCarty reported he had attended the special session of the Legislature, Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported that the City had accepted the bid of Midway Ford for the two new police vehicles, both to have full frames, but that the cars arrived with unibody frames. He added that in checking with Midway Ford, he was told that Ford no longer made a full frame. Wayne Loeffler, salesman from Midway Ford, reported that the unibody frame was found to be acceptable and was in use in many colluuuniti,es for their police cars. He added he did not 'feel it would present any problems to have the inibody frame in lieu of the full body frame, Mayor McCarty asked if the dealership would be willing to grant an extended warrantee. on 22, Report of Administrator
