The Mounds View City Council was called to
order by Mayor McCarty at 7:30 PM, on July 13,
1981.
1. Call to Order
MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Blanchard, Doty, 2. Roll Call
Hodges and Mayor McCarty.
It was announced that Councilmember Forslund was
ill and would not be attending the meeting.
ALSO PRESENT: Clerk /Administrator Pauley, City
Attorney Meyers and Building and Zoning
Official Rose.
_potion /Second: Hodges /Blanchard to approve the
June 22, 1981 minutes as corrected.

Motion /Second: Doty /Hodges to approve the
June 25, 1981 minutes as presented.
4 ayes 0 nays
Linda McDonald, 5287 Jackson Drive, stated that
she had requested a three -way stop sign at
County Road H2 and Jackson and had found out
that it had been denied. She requested that it
be looked into further and mentioned several
instances of speeding cars and cars out of
control on their street, and the numerous children
that lived on the street and played in the park.
She stated that she was afraid someone was going
to be hurt.
Mayor McCarty replied that the Council is very
concerned with the safety of the area and that
°,e decision was made after extensive reports from
.rious Department Heads, and the decision was
Dased on good information. He stated that police
patrols would be increased in the area, and also
reminded those present that it is also the parents
