Marjorie Pranke, 5302 Jackson Drive, stated there was also a problem with the cars going up into yards. Motion /Second: McCarty /Doty to direct Staff to have the proper Department Heads meet with Mrs. McDonald and Mrs. Pranke and compare notes information - wise, regarding traffic on Jackson. 4 ayes 0 nays Patricia Coates, 7501 Greenfield, stated she had received a parking ticket from an area that was not posted, and she had written an affidavit which had been denied. Attorney Meyers explained that the ticket was for boulevard parking, which was not allowed, and once an individual files an affidavit, they must qbide by the judge's decision. Mayor McCarty dded that the City had no authorization over the judge's decision. Mayor McCarty closed the regular meeting at 7:57 PM and opened the public hearing for Tyson Trucking. Official Rose reported that the purpose of the hearing was for preliminary approval of the project under the Municipal Industrial Development Act. David Braslau, of David Braslau Associates, Inc., an environmental and transportation consultant, made a presentation of a noise study his firm had conducted and how Tyson Trucking would effect the area. Tim Tyson explained the planned operation of the trucking company and showed the area where the majority of activity would take place, and what activity would occur close to the property line to the trailer court. He explained that area would be used solely for parking the long distance trucks that would be coming in Thursday r Friday afternoon and not leaving again until anday. He stated they are very concerned with . meeting the State noise standards, and will put up whatever type of barrier is required. Motion Carried 5.
