Official Rose stated that the New Brighton Sanitarian, Dave Frigen, had been very helpful with the inspections of the Launching Pad. Official Rose reported that the City has received the preliminary copy of the final plat for the Krause /Anderson M &E Realty property, and it will be on the agenda at the end of the month for final approval. Acting Mayor Hodges asked if anything had been one regarding the handicapped parking at Mounds iew Square. Official Rose replied that letters had been sent to all businesses but that the code was not retroactive, so it must be done voluntarily. Acting Mayor Hodges asked the Clerk /Administrator to draw up a letter to send to the owners. Attorney Meyers had no report. Councilmember Doty reported that he had joined the League of Cities committee on pensions and PERA and would be interested in any comments from City employees. Councilmember Forslund asked when the postponed Planning Commission meeting would be held. Official Rose replied that it would be August 19. Councilmember Forslund reported that the Ramsey County League meeting will be held August 19. Councilmember Blanchard had no report. sting Mayor Hodges had no report. Motion Carried 11.
