The Mounds View City Council was called to order 1. Call to Order
by Mayor McCarty at 7:30 PM on August 24, 1981.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Doty, Forslund, 2. Roll Call
and Blanchard, and Mayor McCarty. It was noted
that Councilmember Hodges had an excused absence.
ALSO PRESENT: Clerk /Administrator Pauley, City
Attorney Meyers and Building and Zoning Official
Rose.
Motion /Second: Blanchard /Doty to approve the
minutes of the August 10, 1981 meeting as
presented.
ayes 0 nays 1 abstain
Mayor McCarty stated he was abstaining from the
vote as he had not been present at that meeting.
Motion /Second: Doty /Forslund to approve the
minutes of the August 17, 1981 special meeting
as corrected.

Motion /Second: Doty /Blanchard to approve the
minutes of the August 18, 1981 special meeting
as presented.

Harry Gumm, 7805 Greenwood Drive, stated he had
signed a petition regarding the recent election,
and had then received a call the night before
the election and was asked how he was going to
vote. He asked that the person in question be
reprimanded.
lyor McCarty asked Clerk /Administrator Pauley
_o place the issue on the next agenda for
discussion, and asked him to send the pertinent
information to the Charter Commission.
