fficial Rose explained that the required improve-
ments had occurred before the SDM charge was
enacted, and the first two homes built, and that
the SDM charge was then assessed to the remaining
lots.
Mayor McCarty informed Mr. Riggs that the Council
would consider his input and look into the matter.
Councilmember Doty asked that the Maintenance
Department check into the plugged culvert.
Councilmember Forslund asked that Staff look
into the charges being assessed to the developer.
Motion /Second: Doty /Blanchard to table the
request of Mr. Riggs until such time as the
ordinance is resolved.

Motion /Second: Forslund /Blanchard to set
Pat Michna`s probationary salary at $5.65
per hour, retroactive to August 7, 1981
q.nd that a part -time clerk /typist position
advertised, with authorization to start
at $4.00 per hour.

Clerk /Administrator Pauley stated that he
had contacted the resident who did not sign
the petition, and that resident did not want
to have a streetlight placed on his property.
Clerk /Administrator Pauley recommended that
two lights, rather than three, be placed on
the block.
Mayor McCarty reconiuiended looking into Reso-
lution No. 1069, to see whether a home owner
could stop a light from being put in, in a
case where it is highly recommended or needed.
Motion /Second: McCarty /Forslund to approve two
streetlights on the north and south, as pro-
posed, and have Staff provide a recommendation
from the Chief of Police on the necessity of
ze third light.
