DATE APPROVED: 11/9/81 <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />2401 H <br />Regular Meeting <br />October 26, 1981 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />0, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to <br />order by Mayor McCarty at 7:30 PM on October <br />26, 1981. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Forslund, <br />Blanchard, Doty and Hodges and Mayor McCarty. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers, Clerk/ <br />Administrator Pauley and Building and Zoning <br />Official Rose. <br />1. Call to Order <br />2. Roll Call <br />Motion /Second: Doty /Hodges to approve tie 3. Approval of Minutes: <br />October 13, 1981 minutes as corrected. October 13, 1981 <br />4 ayes <br />0 nays 1 abstain <br />_Aouncilmember Forslund abstained from the vote <br />as she had not been present at the October 13 <br />meeting. <br />Tim Tyson, 5538 East Bavarian Pass, Fridley, <br />representing Tyson Trucking, asked the Council <br />to reconsider his request for a preliminary <br />site grading permit. He stated the request <br />was to insure they could start construction <br />prior to winter setting in. He added that they <br />have every intention of continuing with the <br />project as it was proposed, and that they are <br />in the process of finalizing financing for the <br />project. He stated that they hoped to obtain <br />financing for the complete project, rather <br />than doing it in phases, and that his firm had <br />purchased the land outright, so had substantial <br />equity in the project already. <br />Attorney Meyers stated that some type of agree- <br />ment could be entered into to insure the developer <br />does all he says he will do, and they must make it <br />clear that all ordinances must be followed. He <br />- collunended that some type of security be posted. <br />official Rose reported that the applicant has <br />applied for a grading permit, paid his fees, and <br />Motion Carried <br />4.
