consent agenda, minus Item G, and waive the
reading of the resolutions.

Councilmember Doty asked that Item G specify
that the City is only asking for bids and not
actually making a purchase of equipment. Clerk/
Administrator Pauley replied that the bid specs
do specify that. He added that the City will
hopefully have a better idea of the financial
situation by the time the bids are opened.
Motion /Second: Doty /Blanchard to approve Item
G of the consent agenda for the mower with
attachments and the turf vacuum.

2ark, Recreation and Forestry Director
Anderson reported that Silver Lake Woods Park
has been changing daily, with the grading being
95 percent complete, with the irrigation system,
sodding of two ball fields, fence, backstops and
parking lot to be put in soon. He added that
seeding may have to wait until spring, but they
are still hoping to get it done this fall. He
reported that the pond is half finished, with the
total project to date being $12,000 below budget.
Park Director Anderson reported that one of the
old warming houses has been donated to the Frontier
Club, with the other buildings being available to
the public. He reported that temporary trailers
have been reserved for use this winter, and he
would be meeting later in the evening with the
Jaycees to finalize construction plans for the
warming house to be built.
Park Director Anderson reported that a new ordinance
has been established, specifying rules and regula-
tions on use of the parks.
ark Director Anderson reported that the Park
mmission has been working with Staff in writing
a memorandum of understanding for coaches, outlining
policy decisions and guidelines.
