Acting Mayor Hodges reviewed the letter
received from the City of New Brighton, asking
whether Mounds View was interested in joining
them in an investigation of possible litigation
in the municipal well water contamination.
Councilmember Doty recommended discussing the
issue at the next agenda session, and perhaps
in replying to New Brighton, also ask for their
participation in the airport issue. He pointed
out that there was no estimate of the cost
involved if the City did join New Brighton in
possible litigation.
It was the consensus of the Council to discuss
the issue at the next agenda session.
Official Rose reviewed the letter received
from Mr. Eshelman, requesting an extension of
his minor subdivision. He recommended that,
based on past Council action, a 60 day exten-
sion be granted, rather than the six month
tension Mr. Eshelman was asking for.

extension tor Marvin E. Eshelman on his minor
