Official Rose explained to the Council that
while exceptions do occur, Staff is trying
its very best to enforce the code. Clerk/
Administrator Pauley pointed out that many
of the violations have occurred because the
property owner made a change and never came
into the City for a building permit or
whatever was required, and it came to the
attention of Staff after the fact.
^ttorney Meyers was absent.
Councilmember Blanchard stated she had
received several calls regarding the
radiator repair shop in her neighborhood
and asked if anything had been done yet.
Official Rose replied that a citation
will be delivered on November 25, as he
is in violation of the sign ordinance.
Councilmember Blanchard reported she had
attended the Ramsey County League meeting
the previous week, but due to the bad
weather, the Legislators had not attended.
Councilmember Doty reviewed a report from
the previous City auditors, showing how
Mounds View compares with 19 other suburban
cities in the cost of government per capita.
Mounds View was rated extremely well in all
areas.
Councilmember Forslund reported she had
received many complaints of snowmobilers.
Clerk /Administrator Pauley replied that,
zfortunately, not much can be done to
pprehend them, but a notice was published
in the last newsletter, with another going
in the forthcoming newsletter. Mayor McCarty
pointed out that the youngsters who use them
