mately four years. He also explained that a
second application seems to last longer.
Mayor McCarty thanked Mr. Schaefer and told him
the Council would be discussing the matter further.
Bob Hedlund asked the status of the airport
issue. Attorney Meyers replied that he had
made special requests to the Net Council, asking
them for their position on the installation of
an ILS, but to date had no response from them.
He added that he has prepared the necessary
paperwork to be filed with the Court, asking
for a temporary injunction until a Court
decision can be made.
Motion /Second: Doty /Hodges to authorize the
City Attorney to proceed with litigation
regarding the airport issue.

Mayor McCarty stated that at this time, no
other City has stated they would join Mounds
View in the legal proceedings, but asked
that if any other City was interested, they
contact Mounds View to coordinate efforts.

Finance Director Brager asked the Council to
approve payment for the firm Natural Green,
which had recently done seeding for the City,
and had asked that their payment be expedited.
He added that they do have a valid voucher.
Motion /Second: McCarty /Hodges to authorize
payment of the claim by Natural Green, Inc.
for seeding.

Clerk /Administrator Pauley reviewed the proposed
resolution for increasing sewer rates. He
stated it would require $24.50 per REC per
quarter to include the root control treatment
program.
