Building and Zoning Official Rose was noted as
absent on vacation.
Attorney Meyers advised the Council of a deci-
sion in a zoning case in Coon Rapids, whereby
the judge determined that the Council members
could be called to testify as to why they made
the decision they made.
Councilmember Hodges had no report.
Councilmember Blanchard asked if the steps to
the warming houses could be modified as she
felt they were dangerous, after observing
children on them.
Clerk /Administrator Pauley replied that he
had checked with Park Director Anderson
and that other Cities had not experienced
any problems with them, and that he had
also talked to the attendants, who had not
experienced any problems. Mayor McCarty
asked that it be reiterated to the attendants
to help the children and watch for their
safety.
Councilmember Doty had no report.
Councilmember Forslund had no report.
Mayor McCarty had no report.
Clerk /Administrator Pauley reported he
had received a draft narrative for the
wetlands and had been asked to review
it, prior to publication. He stated it
would be placed on the next agenda.
Motion /Second: Doty /Hodges to adjourn the
meeting at 8:43 PM.
