The Mounds View City Council was called 1. CALL TO ORDER
to order by Mayor McCarty at 6:41 p.m.
on December 30, 1981.
Members present: Hodges, Forslund, Doty, 2. ROLL CALL
Blanchard, and Mayor McCarty.
Others present: Clerk - Administrator Pauley
and Finance Director Brager.
Clerk - Administrator Pauley presented
Resolution 1398 Authorizing Certain
Interfund Transfers.
Motion /Second: McCarty /Hodges to adopt
Resolution No. 1398 and waive the reading.

Clerk - Administrator Pauley presented a
memorandum signed by all of the Department
Heads indicating that it was their unanimous
position to abide by the decision of the
City Council regarding 1982 raises for
management level staff. Mayor McCarty
presented analysis of management and non
management salaries for non -union employees
that he had prepared and stated that it was
his position that management level raises
could not be held back. The Council entered
into a general discussion of the merits of
giving management level raises for 1982.
Motion /Second: McCarty /Hodges to adopt
Resolution No. 1399 approving 7% salary
increases for 1982 for management level
positions and waive the reading.
